In this section, we decided to share with you the brightest performances at TED conferences on gender equality, women’s leadership, women’s empowerment. Prominent speakers from different countries and different areas of activities tell us about gender roles and stereotypes, discrimination, striving for equal partnership between men and women and the barriers on the way to gender equality; they also explain why taking into account gender differences and gender approach to the seemingly universal things is very important.
The annual TED conferences are held in the United States, where celebrities and prominent experts from different fields reveal the most relevant topics, including education, science, medicine, business, energy conservation and so on. It is a full-scale project members of which believe in the power of ideas that can arouse the best in people and change the world. In fact, TED is an association of inspired people who disseminate experience, knowledge, new ideas and approaches that we also want to be a part of.
